DINING + SOCIAL ETIQUETTE FOR KIDS
PART 1: DINING ETIQUETTE FOR KIDS:
In this course, students will be introduced to Part 1 of the TableSmarts Etiquette program.
Students will learn:
- Dining Etiquette (placing orders with the server, navigating place settings, correct handling of utensils, napkin uses, rules for eating bread and soup, do’s and don’ts of mealtime behaviour, and how to confidently handle dining mishaps)
- Greeting Others
- Appropriate Conversations at the Table
The above will be taught over a 3-course gourmet brunch held over 2.5 hours. Our approach to teaching includes group discussions, role-playing, and interactive hands-on practice.
Price $189 (includes: access to private-members club, private dining room with designated service staff for our class, gourmet 3-course brunch and soft drinks, personalized and illustrated workbook to reinforce concepts taught, as well as a Certificate of Participation in Dining Etiquette).
** Kids classes are restricted to Ages 7-12 and limited to 8 children per class to ensure personalized instruction and one-on-one time with our instructor.

Terminal City Club
PART 2: SOCIAL ETIQUETTE + DINING REFRESHER FOR KIDS
In this course, students will be introduced to Part 2 of the TableSmarts Etiquette program.
Students will learn:
- Etiquette in Public Places
- Respect and Cultural Awareness
- Sharing and Caring for Others
- Looking Presentable and Feeling Good
- Magic Words and Acts of Kindness
The above will be taught alongside a refresher course where students review dining concepts over a 3-course brunch held over 2.5 hours. Our approach to teaching includes group discussions, role-playing, and interactive hands-on practice.
Price $189 (includes: access to private-members club, private dining room with designated service staff for our class, gourmet 3-course brunch and soft drinks, and a personalized Certificate of Participation in Social Etiquette).
** Kids classes are restricted to Ages 7-12 limited to 8 children to ensure personalized instruction and one-on-one time with our instructor.

DINING + SOCIAL ETIQUETTE FOR ADULTS
In this course, individuals will have an opportunity to become certified in Dining Etiquette. Topics include: how to approach and exit the table in a polite fashion, placing an order with the waiter, navigating place settings, napkin-uses, rules for eating bread and soup, correct handling of utensils, do’s and don’ts of business meals, and dealing with dining mishaps.
Further, a new concept, Wine Etiquette, will also be included. Individuals will learn the do’s and don’ts surrounding ordering and drinking wine. Individuals will learn how to select, order, and correctly taste wine, as well as learn the basics of the different varieties. The class will consist of instruction, group discussions, and hands-on practice during a three-course dinner at the prestigious Terminal City Club in Vancouver.
Upon successful completion of a post-class assessment, individuals will be awarded with a Certificate of Proficiency in Dining Etiquette. Certificates can be listed on resumes, LinkedIn, etc. to indicate proficiency with proper dining etiquette and soft skills.
Cost: $225 (includes: access to private members club, 3-course dinner or brunch, wine, take-home resource book, and Certificate of Proficiency in Dining + Wine Etiquette upon successful completion of post-class assessment).

Sunita Padda is a B.C certified educator and has been trained in dining etiquette by Patricia Napier-Fitzpatrick of The Etiquette School of New York. Further, she has recently been educated by Tamiko Zablith in The Art of The Table at the world renowned Minding Manners School in London, England. As a University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University graduate, she has completed a Masters in Professional Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Western Ontario. In addition to a strong academic background in Education, Sunita has taught at a variety of schools including Vancouver’s most prestigious private schools, Crofton House School in Vancouver, B.C and Mulgrave School in West Vancouver, B.C. Sunita is a strong believer that attention spent to children’s soft skill and civilities are imperative to their success into adulthood.
